Product Overview
Current transformers feature a comprehensive hermetic design, where epoxy resin serves as the principal insulating material. This fully enclosed structure not only provides excellent protection against external environmental factors but also ensures high - level electrical insulation, making it highly reliable for various electrical applications.
The core of the current transformer is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. It utilizes either crystallitic alloy or premium - grade silicon steel sheets, which are precisely wound into an annular shape. This annular core design helps in achieving uniform magnetic field distribution, minimizing magnetic leakage, and enhancing the overall performance of the transformer. Subsequently, the secondary leads are evenly and carefully wound around the core. The even winding of the secondary leads is crucial as it guarantees consistent electrical performance and accurate current transformation ratios.
For the primary conductors, a special winding process is employed. The conductors are carefully wrapped with insulation belts. This insulation belt wrapping serves a dual purpose: it not only insulates the individual conductors but also effectively prevents any potential short - circuits between the conductors, thereby safeguarding the integrity and safety of the electrical system.
