    Product Introduction

    The ring network box transformer is an oil-immersed three-phase commercial distribution transformer designed specifically for underground distribution loads and is widely used in places such as shopping malls, schools, institutions and factories. It is suitable for terminal applications with or without taps and can meet different installation needs. The transformer uses aluminum or copper windings and is carefully optimized to achieve a perfect combination of high efficiency and small footprint. Its main advantages include high voltage output, stable neutral point, low energy consumption, compact size, economical and practical, safe and environmentally friendly, and beautiful appearance design.     Standard Features

    The three-phase ring network box transformer has a number of standard features to ensure its safety and convenience in various application scenarios. Its casing is made of low-carbon steel material, and customers can also choose stainless steel tanks to meet different environmental requirements. The transformer is equipped with a three-point latch door for enhanced security, while the removable threshold design makes the installation process easier. The transformer cabinet depth has a variety of options, suitable for equipment in different power ranges, ranging from 300kVA to 7500kVA.

     

    In terms of high-voltage connection, the transformer is designed with an energized external front cladding, equipped with a detachable high-voltage bushing and a clamp-type connector to ensure the reliability and safety of the connection. For transformers without a front-end structure, the externally clamped high-voltage bushing hole can be used for unloading or non-unloading plug-ins, providing flexible operating options. At the same time, the high-voltage and low-voltage compartment doors of the transformer are both hinged and lifted, equipped with fixing rods for easy maintenance and operation.

     

    The transformers are equipped with a variety of practical features, such as external clamping polymer and porcelain low-voltage bushings for low-voltage connections with 4-12 hole spades to ensure the stability of electrical connections. For models up to 500 kVA, there is an oil drain plug, while models of 750 kVA and above are equipped with a 1-inch drain valve and sampler. The transformers also include automatic overflow valves and lifting lugs to ensure safety and convenience during use, all designed in accordance with ANSI standard requirements.

    Optional Accessories

    The optional accessories of three-phase ring network box transformer include a variety of functional components to meet different usage requirements. The main accessories are:

    1. Monitoring equipment:

     - Oil level gauge

     - Liquid temperature gauge

     - Pressure vacuum gauge

     - Welding cover with hand holes

     - Oil drain valve with or without sampler

     - Mechanical pressure relief device installed on the fuel tank cap

    1. Main terminal configuration:

     - External clamping bushing hole with load disconnect insert

     - Integral load-free or no-load bushing

    1. Secondary terminal configuration:

     - External clamping bushings with NEMA 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 hole spades provide spade support to support 8 hole or larger spade terminals.

    1. Main switching device:

     - O LBOR oil switch: two for ring main type

     - External off-circuit tap-changer

     - External dual voltage switch

     - External △-Y switch

     - 2-position load cut-off switch

     - 4-position T or V-blade segmented circuit switch

    1. Overvoltage protection:

     - Distribution-grade metal oxide arresters (3-36kV)

     - Distribution level valve type arrester (3-27kV)

    1. Overcurrent protection:

     - Plastic dripper cup attached to each dual-sensitivity fuse

     - Weak link box fuse

     - Dual-sensitivity fuse in series with internal current-limiting fuse

     - Secondary oil circuit breaker

    1. Other construction options:

     - Stainless steel water tank and cabinet design

     - Partial stainless steel design (cabinet threshold and tank bottom)

     - 30", 34" or 40" deep cabinets

     - CT or PT, including installation support

     - OLV externally mounted molded case circuit breaker

     - External electricity meter

     - Lightweight brewing cabinet

     - Other externally mounted nameplates

     - Different paint colors upon request

    1. Windscreen:

     - An optional draft shield is available on the transformer cabinet, connected by hinges, to facilitate the replacement of dual-sensitive fuses. The draft shield can be easily lifted into place and secured with a single support arm, without the need for additional hold-down hardware.

    The combination of the above accessories and options can provide comprehensive functional support and flexible application scenarios for the three-phase ring network box transformer.
