EI-13x20 5VA transformer
Core role
1.Safe voltage conversion: step down the mains voltage of 220V to safe voltages such as 12V/24V to power the control circuit;
2.Signal isolation: Blocking common-mode interference between the primary and secondary circuits through magnetic circuit coupling, improving the system's anti-interference capability;
3.Impedance matching: Optimizes signal transmission efficiency in scenarios such as audio equipment and sensors.

◆Structural design
- Iron core: EI-13x20 silicon steel sheet stepped lamination, magnetic leakage <5%;
- Winding: Primary 0.1mm enameled wire (220V side), secondary 0.3mm wire diameter (low voltage side);
- Protection: Blue epoxy resin potting, IP20 protection grade.
◆Electrical performance
- Capacity: 5VA (maximum continuous load);
- No-load current ≤ 10mA, efficiency ≥ 85%;
- Insulation resistance ≥ 100MΩ (500VDC test).
◆Environmental adaptability
Operating temperature: -20°C ~ +60°C, humidity ≤ 95% RH (non-condensing).
How it works
Electromagnetic induction: The input AC current generates an alternating magnetic field through the primary winding, which is conducted to the secondary winding through the EI core;
Voltage conversion: voltage reduction is achieved through the turns ratio (e.g. 220V → 12V corresponds to 18:1), and energy is transferred in the form of magnetic field;
Isolation characteristics: There is no direct electrical connection between the primary and secondary sides, which complies with the GB19212.1-2003 safety standard.
